I also received the same thing in an envelope with my name and address but no return stamp. Dated 11.23.2006 and also received the $2800 check that looked real to me but after reading the letter I became very suspicious regarding this. And of course my father in law also received one.
This letter said I had one $275, 000 and to call Brandon Johnson or Cathy Smith to activate my claim. It was also signed by George Bailey.
These people need to be stopped.
