My story begins after finding a letter saying that i won $275, 000 from Royal Link Lotto, after finding the $2, 800 check from them saying that it was for the insurance fee, I admit I was thinking this was a scam.
After looking at the check and saw the watermarks and checked the BBB and saw (at the time no complaints) I figured that they were legit and I call the number and talk to a person name "Bob Johnson" and he gave me instruction to what to do.
After I did that I called him back and told him that my CU put a seven day hold on the check and he seem angry and then told me to call back when the funds were available.
So after the 7 days were up I called back and I got no response at all, and then I got a call from my CU telling me that the checks were not good.
Lucky for me my CU has a fraud dept. and they are looking into this, my advice is don't deposit those check, it's not worth the heartache.
