Circle of Photographers sent me several e-mail that seemed to be completely legitimate... Updates and progress reports on the making of my manuscript for a photo contest that I entered. I put my own child at risk with these people. God knows what these people have done and there will be hell to pay.
I entered a photograph that I captured of my son. It's my prize picture of him... My beautiful son and idea of having a photo that I took of him, printed in a manuscipt to show him later in life. It's just short of a minor emotion devastation. I wasn't offered any money. I was offered a manuscipt of several photographs... Mine being one of the photo's published because of it's composotion and color and captured moment... whatever.
It's a shame... People like that ruin it for legitamate companies. I will not buy or be taken for a fool again. I paid for a manuscript that had already made a place in my heart. I never saw it and probably never will. These crooks need to be taken to the dump because that's exactly what they did to my smal hopeful dream/imagination.
