This is to anyone who has sent these scam artist money or uploaded any of their photographs. I came across their site by clicking on a link in a photography forum. Reading their contest rules I decided to enter one of my photos I took of my 10 year old sons hobby. A few days later I received an email stating they chose my photo over 8, 000 other contestants photos. The only way to see my photo in their "so called" manuscript, was to send them $59.00 and then and only then I would be eligible for the $5, 000 dollar prize. It sounded fishey so I ended up searching the web for any information on this COP site. I came across numerous complaints about this scam site. Instead of sending in any money I decided to get an alias email address and send in another photo. I went into my PhotoShop and just created a small black square and named it "scam" and then uploaded it to their site and lo and behold a few days later I received another email saying they chose my picture over 8, 000 other entries. "Last words" This site needs to be shut down. these people do not judge any photos, they just send everyone who sends them a photo an email saying they were chosen to be in their 2005 manuscript and the only way to see their photo is to send them $59.00. There two email addresses don't even exsist. Stay clear of Circle of Photographers. Down below is the actual email they sent me on my scam photo.
