STAY AWAY from the unethical CMTC bullies who are after every cent they can get from unsuspecting aspiring youth and their parents.
Check Yelp.ca, BBB complaints, Canada-Complaints.com, sort Google CMTC reviews by “lowest ratings” to see other REAL participant’s experiences.
Or just save your energy and stay away from CMTC. From other reviews and complaints they have an unusual amount of experience over the years with threatening credit collections and legal action which appear to come as a result of their unethical practices. If you have had a bad experience with CMTC and want to compare notes or consider group action against them contact me at:
My daughter was “selected” in the CMTC “audition”. Another reviewer as far back as 2013 had this to say: "This whole thing is a cash cow for Mode Elle. Don't expect this review to stay up for long, mode elle is good at getting negative reviews removed from these sites." Mode Elle in Belleville is a modelling agency connected with CMTC.
Their response to my review (as well as their attacks on others who submit negative reviews including attempts to embarrass them) is further evidence of CMTC’s lack of ethics. They attack without bothering to find out the details of where they may have gone wrong and make no effort to correct dishonest business practices.
Reputable companies don’t attack reviewers. Reputable companies try to determine diplomatically how they can resolve the complaint and improve themselves as a business. There has been no effort to do so on the part of CMTC..
From their reviews and complaints it’s clear that they have had the same issue for years and have done nothing to be more upfront with unsuspecting parents and youth who are unfamiliar with the industry and with CMTC’s methods of sucking people into thinking they have been specially selected as having potential after only meeting them for a few minutes.
At the start they tell people that it’s highly competitive and that many people want to get in but few are selected. Then later they demand to be paid whether you use their service or not and threaten to sick credit collectors on people saying they can’t fill a missing spot with “only” four months to do so. Seriously? One of those two claims has to be false.
Hardly behaviour befitting an organization that claims as their values:
- Promoting integrity and high standards of professionalism
- An environment of honesty and respect
