Drive thru window
Cashier scamming $1 per custome

Went thru the drive thru in Stony Plain, Alta, Mcdonalds. Ordered 3 double cheese burgers and 2 medium cokes. As a regular customer at Mickey D's, I knew the price was $7.42. The cashier said over the speaker, $8.46 please. I asked why it was about a $1 more than any other Mcd's and he said, " Sorry, I punched in the wrong pop size". So, knowing all pop at this time, regardless of size are $1, I collected my change and mentioned to him the price of their pop is all the same, his face went red and agreed. He tried to give me some B.S. story and I cut him off sternbly. I said no, I caught you guys doing this over a year ago, in fact 3 times in one month, and he said, " yeah, I know". This money isn't being scammed for the business, it is being scammed by the workers. I told the assistant manager at the next window, and she looked scared and said, " I will look into it". Excuse me, but if a customer is acusing an employee of scamming, I am sure they would say please come inside and talk to the manager. I went home and thought I wouyld phone and get the managers name and go nto the police and report a possible fraud operation as my friends and family have been scammed at this location as well. So, I phoned and got the operation supervisor (JAMIE) and told him my strory, and he backed up his employee at will. When I said I was going to make a complaint to the R.C.M.P., he just laughed vand said they won't come here. nI also told him how the employee was asking for the spare pennies and he said yes we give it to charity. I said that is when you identify to the customer that is for charity and you are not doing this. As i said, I was scammed her before. The last time the cashier told me a price for my food and because they don't have screens working to verify the prices for the last 2 years, I checked my reciept at the last window and it was $1 less than what I was charged. I drove back thru the drive thruy and he seen me coming and had his hand out the window with a loonie and said " I guess IU owe you a dollar". BUSTED- and this is always at this location. The managers to me are in on this because nothing ever gets done about it.500 customers a day at a $1 is a nice sum to split each day. I took time to WARN all people in Stony Plain and Spruce Grove, Alberta, to be aware of this scam at this location next to the Petro Canada. Eat at the Spruce Grove locxation or elsewhere as it has never happened to me anywhere else, but the Stony Plain McDonalds Location.
