Unreceived goods but payment taken

Like the many people before me it seems TVboxset still can't work out how to send things in the post. If you look at the date of the first person who reported them it has been 4 months and they are still having or causing the same problem. My DVD's were due this week, only to receive an email. When I went to visit their site it is down "server not available". When I did a search on the web to check i had the address right I came across these canada-complaints.com and thought I'd add my experience. They have stated in an email that I should get my package in another 10 or more days. However based on everyone elses reports here I won't be holding my breathe but contacting my credit card supplier. Below is a copy of their email;

This message is a normal result when we submit our tracking manifests to Canada Post on a weekly basis, as all the orders for the week are processed simultaneously.

After all the parcels are process and have their waybills affixed to the shipping boxes, they are delivered to Canadapost for shipment.

The error occurred when the parcels arrived at the Canadapost depot for deployment, that we are still unsure of, the parcel dates were incorrect and delayed the shipment. We have only become aware of this problem and working diligently to resolve it as quickly as possible.

Our entire shipment has to be reprocessed and repackaged for reshipment. We understand your frustration waiting for an order that was not going to arrive. We sincerely apologize for this error It will take approx 10 to 14 days for your order to arrive, from this date.

As compensation we will offer you a @ discount on your future order You will receive a new tracking number shortly. In turn if you wish to cancel you order you may by calling 1-877-797-7973 or by emailing [email protected]

Again, we apologize for this unforeseen error and we look forward to serving you again in the future
