I received a check for $4700.00, It looked pretty real... but I knew it had to be a scam. The letter stated that I needed to call asap, and it had some directions pertaining to Western Union... I cannot believe that Walmart, Kmart, Sears, aren't doing anything about this, since their company names are being used. Anyway, I was to collect the "rest" of my prize of $115, 300 as soon as I made the arrangements... Is this not mail fraud? It appears others have gotten the exact same letter, and for quite some time now!
My letter is dated 5/28/2009. Drawing was held 2/20/2009.
