I have launched a case against Safeway Canada INC with regards to harrassment and discrimination and safety violations which occured at their store. Their unprofessionalism and mismanagement of my complaints have resulted in my need to quit my job on the aforementioned grounds.

It is in my opinion that Safeway Canada INC is in violation of many laws, and that when observed as a whole it demonstrates a trend with this company to cover this up.

I will include the doctor's note when you email me back, I've scanned it in and will be scanning in a copy of my ESA complaint. I have obtained the name of the person handling my ESA complaint and will be communicating this with my MLA and that is when I will be obtaining a copy of the formal complaint to the ESA. I have also given the ESA a copy of this doctor's note.

What I would like to ask people is the following:
What sort of intent do you all suppose when they failed to provide an employee file immediately upon request at head office, why all the stall tactics and evasion when it came to providing me with information that I have a right to?

Why would they conduct a sloppy investigation then refute my claims?

I believe Safeway Canada INC has breached FOIP and ESA standards for disclosure of information and as voiced in my communications their failure to provide is pretty solid proof that they've had an agenda and it had nothing to do with them living up to their "zero tolerance policy" regarding harassment and discrimination.

I believe that if I were a manager things would have been handled properly, but as a low value 1 year employee with this loser corporation versus an employee who is a manager and has 22 years with the business, their approach most definitely was biased and nothing more than a ruse to begin a sloppy cover-up of what they have done.

In my opinion this corporation is not to be trusted, ever, and that anybody experiencing problems similar to this should automatically assume the corporation and it's store-level management are not going to care what their problems are and take a biased stance protective of the corporation.

I would like this to be the public record of this evil corporation getting caught at their games and put in their place, I have many people backing me up.

My mother has agreed to pay for a consultation with a lawyer where we will bring our case before them and come up with a game plan where the lawyer can help prepare our case pending. We will bring the Human Rights tribunal letters regarding two separate complaints of discrimination.

The first complaint is regarding the sexual orientation based slur regarding my sexual orientation mentioned by my manager, the lady whom I have accused of harassing me. I will have my lawyer obtain the required documents, as well I will have a letter with me for my meeting next Wednesday to the privacy commissioner so that my information can be released under FOIP and to report Safeway's violations.

I expect we will arrange to have this lawyer paid a retainer to have an investigation conducted to back up our cases pending with Safeway regarding the ESA, a constructive dismissal and breach of employment agreement, and with the human rights tribunal.

I have already have the favor of my local MLA and MP, whom are writing letters to various ministries on my behalf regarding this affair (and monitoring the situation). I was referred to my lawyer by a local celebrity-of-sorts in the gay community, Deva Dave, a real business professional and good personal friend. Thanks for the help Dave.

If Safeway gets this, you had a chance to settle and declined, the ESA is already looking at our complaints and your failure to provide the requested documentation has a fine of $500, 000 maximum, you've failed to provide many times and we are insisting with our government officials that you don't get a slap on the wrist for this since it was clearly intentional and you had reminders of the exact law you were breaking. I have faith in the government to give you your dues in that matter (in what is my opinion) and given your behavior with regards to the disclosure of this matter clearly there is a vindictive nature behind these actions.

I will be finishing my human rights tribunal letters tonight and I will obtain values for those as well. My email communications do bring up many valid points and I don't feel the need to rehash any of them, just have a look for yourself and you'll be-able to make your own judgment and decide if you want to be giving this evil corporation your hard earned money by shopping there. Personally I would like more of Emelia's victims to come forward out of this, and honestly I think there are so many of them someone 'll come along and tell me about what she has done to other people.

My main goal is to get this to stop, and to prevent this corporation from it's hostile actions towards knieve employees that will get taken advantage of because they get fed the BS line that Safeway has a "zero tolerance policy". It does not and the facts will come out in this case and be heard and be published so you all can judge.
