Canada Screw employees ripoff Victoria British Columbia

Well, a few months back I left my current job for safeway as they were offering higher wages and more hrs, I was offered as many hrs as I could handle, Promised this by the manager, so a few weeks later I start my first week,

(Pay is weekly) I wasnt paid at all for the first 3 weeks, then once I was paid they hadn't paid me for about 20 hrs. So I ask the manager he says he'll look into it. Nothing the next week. THe problem is they overhired by TONS of people for a grandopening, and I got no hrs for about 3 weeks 0 yes 0 hrs, then after returning.

I worked that week the next week, didn't get paid, and same with this week. This is happening not just to me but many others employees I work with. My guess is screwing up our pay enough until we quit, and giving us no hrs.

I have asked them nicely time and time again to pay me and they just won't. I do not know HOW I am going to get my money but I plan to try.

The moral of the story, Safeway, Not the safeway to get a job.
