On April 9, 2009 a pop-up came on my computer screen telling me that I had won a $1, 000 Wal-Mart gift card. As I read the information I discovered I had to order 3 groups of introductory offers.
I ordered offers that were free or under $10. However, when they started arriving some of them were much more. The first was an offer from Seattle Direct Coffee of Il. that charged my bank account $25. My understanding was that it would be $5.95. I called them and stopped further shipments but I kept that first order.
Then I started recieving coffee through the USPS in bags that had 2-12 oz. bags per package at a fast rate. They have deducted $38.95 for each package of 2 every 3 days from my bank account. I have tried to get an address, phone number, web address from them since it began. I am going to put a stop payment on the orders today. So far there have been 5.
From the looks of my account I will recieve another package today. I will look for a return address at that time. I had not noticed one before. Only numbers. I have returned all of them so far but no contact has been made.
You would think that a 68 yrs. of age that I would know better! Truly, "If it sounds to good to be true it probably is"
P.S. I have not recieved the $1, 000 gift card from WebRewardsStream.com of Ontario, Canada, at this time either. I will update you if there is anything to update!
