This Lottery Winner's Notification was an obvious SCAM - from the envelope with no return address to the letter itself which contained multiple spelling and grammar errors all the way to the instructions on depositing the enclosed check in the amount of $4, 775 to pay "applicable taxes" in the amount of $2, 970. If this were a legitimate lottery, taxes would simply be deducted from the winnings.
Sad to think, in these difficult financial times, that some "low-life sub- humans" are still preying on unsuspecting people.
