Jerome Sammy-- Finished Basements
Hires sub-contractors to work and refuses to pay them after the job is finished-- still owes several sub- contractors money

Eight months ago, I worked for a contractor (Jerome Sammy) who owns a company in Markham, Ontario by the name of FINISHED BASEMENTS. I worked for him as a sub-contractor. I built cabinets and worked on various other projects for him-- which he has displayed photos of, on his website: https://www.finishedbasementsscto.com.

Since the work has been completed, he has yet to pay me. I've received several cheques from him that have all bounced. After multiple attempts at contacting him, I finally reached him and he wrote me another cheque, which subsequently bounced. This was yesterday: June 27, 2008.
