Made a Firm Deal or so I thought. They change the deal at the very last minute ripoff Antioch

I had researched my car. I went thru a website and they made my deal for me, so I didn't have to deal with the DEALERS. Or so I thought.

I called and confirmed everything with the sales rep and he gave me the total of cost of the car and also told me I would have three cars to choose from. So we set up an appt. for 11 on Sunday. I went to the bank got a check for the full amount.

I arrived an half hour early on sunday. I also want to note that I drove over an hour and half to get there for this GREAT DEAL. Come to find out at 11 the guy wasnt planning on coming in till 12. So he finally got in after 11:30 after everyone had to call him. I had already been waiting for an hour. There was not three cars waiting for me, just one. Lucky it was the one I wanted.

None of the other dealers would help me, I had to wait for this guy. During this time of wait they took my trade in car.

So after the hour of waiting and them holding my trade in car. The guy comes and we start to do paperwork. And that is when he decided to inform me that the trade in dept wont give me the original amount of my trade in. I told him he had told me the confirmed price on Friday and that I had a cashiers check for that amount. He said sorry and that he tried to talk to them but they wont budge.

After a while of arguing and saying they broke a contract he tried to tell me that my trade in car was junk and they would be lucky if they got $1500 out of it. They told me originally $2500 for trade in. They told me blue book for my car is $1500. which is a lie. Blue book for trade in is $3000.

The guy knew I wanted the car and that I had been waiting for over an hour to get it, and that I had drove the distance. BAsically he knew that it had been close to 2.5 hours of waiting to get car. He told me to take it or leave it.

He knew I was in a tough position, if I hadn't driven so far and waited and gotten the check and everything I would have walked away and told them to stuff it. But because I was in this position I payed the extra thousand.

This is the shadiest bunch of people. Not only did they let my daughter and me sit there for an hour and not tell us this info but they waited until we had paperwork ready to sign.

I would be very hasty to go to this dealer. Very shady work!! And very shady behavior. I am in the process of contacting the company that made the deal for me. But for people who are going to that dealer, DONT!
