On Oct. 5, 2005, Whiteland Resort & Supply Service placed an order with my company, BreathePureAir.com for 25 residential air cleaners in the amount of $14, 362.50. On Oct. 13, 2005, Whiteland Inc. placed an additional order for 60 air conditioners in the amount of $25, 825.00. On Nov. 1, 2005, delivery of the above items was confirmed by Whiteland Inc.; tracking #'s 840912432 and 129532.
During the next several weeks, we made numerous phone calls to Whiteland Inc. regarding our outstanding invoices and didn't have our calls returned. Finally, on Dec. 22, 2005 we were informed by Whiteland Inc.'s accounting department that 2 checks were in the mail to BPA; check #1231 for $14, 362.50 and #1232 for $25, 825.00. These checks never arrived.
After several more unreturned or unanswered calls, I spoke to a Mr. Mike O'Malley who indicated the president of Whiteland Resort & Supply Service, Mr. Alireza Ashkarian, was at their bank and was in the process of sending a wire transfer for the total amount owed. Since that date, we have not received a wire transfer from Whiteland Inc. and they are not anwsering the phone. It also appears that Mr. Ashkarian has had his home phone disconnected.
This is a HUGE amount of money for a small business like mine to absorb. We shipped our products to Whiteland Resort & Supply Service in good faith and expect the same when payment is due. I would strongly advise anyone thinking of doing business with Whiteland Resort & Supply Service or Mr. Alireza Ashkarian to be careful and get payment up front.
