Just spend 4 hours in two CT neighbor stores, RH and Aurora, within GTA. First store in Richmond Hill guided me through a Optimum card application and I got approved in 1 hour for buying a garage door opener on sale in the flyer for that weekend only, but the product on shelf was something else with the same label. Just refused the price matching of the cheaper model for the same price and went to another location in Aurora as advised. The "manager" in Aurora said he can't use the application from the store 5 km down the same street to charge for the existing model in the store, so I had to choose from spending another 2 hours to get approved for the new store or just go home and enjoy my family and ordering a garage door opener and installation from a decent company and stay away from Canadian Tire for such thing, wich I recommend..
Terrible service that ruined my weekend except one agent, Aidlin in Richmond Hill who really went ahead and tried things beyond her call of duty. She took me through each step she was making to have me get the $439 garage door opener and the $99 installation service. To no avail unfortunately, at the end of the day. CT lost me on the way due to arrogant service agents in both stores and unnaceptable wait time, bad communnication and worst financial service ever. I am now going to receive an Optimum Master Card that I won't be able to use even to wipe an ass. I won't apply for that crap again, obviously.
The so calld managers complained of being overwhelmed by the busiest time of the year, but let's face it, they're idling all year long and just get a bunch of customers during hollydays. I hope that CT management will do something to keep only agents like Aidlin and fire all the old sour generation of arrogant ingnorant so called store I don't know what that freak customers out and piss any innocent visitor off...
