I recieved check payable to my deceased wife, she has passed 5 yrs ago. i called the number just to see how she had won the money, now the number is in vegas, the letter is from canada and the check is drawn on a chicago bank. if you get one of these checks bells should go off in your head.
they said that they had to talk my wife, well that isnt gonna happen. i asked how she had won the money, i was informed that she either entered a contest or bought something with a credit card within the past yr. well that didnt happen either. i informed them that my wife had passed and get this they said i could sign the check and deposit it in my account.
well thats not gonna happen either, so if you get one of these checks do what i did shred it. if its to good to true and its gonna cost you to get money it is not true.
