Like everyone else, I paid for my two games and have yet to receive viable game codes.
I have continued to try to contact SpinTop Media with no luck. I've used both of these emails and have no phone number: [email protected] and [email protected].
Today I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau in Canada and started the process of getting the transaction reversed with my bank.
If you have experienced the same issue I encourage you to file a complaint at https://www.bbb.org/canada/ and contact your bank.
My detailed complaint is posted below for your reference.
Thanks,
Melissa
BBB Report:
On Saturday, June 6th I ordered two PC games online from SpinTop at: https://www.spintop-games.com. I received an immediate form email with codes that were supposed to unlock the two games I had downloaded and paid for. The email contained defunct codes and I was unable to activate my games. I immediately responded with details about this issue and asked for a resolution.
Since then I have emailed [email protected] and [email protected] on June 9th, 10th, and 11th. I have received absolutely no communication from this company and my credit/debit card has been charged the full amount of $31.98 with an out of country transaction fee of $0.94.
I have no way of contacting them other than by email and am incredibly frustrated that I don't have my money back or the product I purchased. I contacted my bank today June 12th as I told the company I would if I didn't hear back from them and have started proceedings to get the transaction reversed. *********** Bank will work on my behalf to get my money back. However, this business can't continue to operate if they are unwilling to follow proper business practices.
