Ripoff, unauthorized withdrawal from bank account after account termination, refusal to refund, *EDitor's Suggestions on how to get your money back into your bank account!

Aura.com, interhop.net is an internet service provider.
In February of 2005 we terminated our account with them. They waited a couple of months, then continued taking money out of our bank account via direct withdrawals. Sometimes they would go several months without recording a transaction, then take two or three months pay at one time, making it look as though nothing was being taken from our account.

We discovered this recently, and called several times to the company, spoke to several managers, who CONFIRMED that we had terminated our account with them in their own records in early February. They also confirmed by their records that they had been continuing to take money from our account.

When asked about the nearly two hundred and fifty dollars they took from us, they simply said the most they would ever give us back is two months worth because its *company policy*

When asked... "So your company policy is... to steal? "
they had no reply.

This is theft, simply put, calling it Company Policy does not change this fact. Do not ever use this internet provider unless you want to get ripped off!!!
