I ordered a pair of Rare Jordans for my son. I sent a money order on 2/27/04. I received an email from Nicekicks.com on 3/4/04 saying "Your order was processed on the 3rd of this month so your shoes will arrive in 2-3 weeks from that date." the email was signed by someone named Bob.
It is now 5/1/04 and the shoes have not arrived. My son is so hopeful that he waits for the mail everyday, but becomes more and more disappointed as each day passes and no shoes.
I've emailed nicekicks three times and have not received a response. On a hunch, I searched the web for any complaints against the company, and I found this site. I wasn't too surprised, considering what what going on, but when I showed the site to my son, he was really crushed.
I'd ordered shoes on the internet from a couple of other "discount" sites such as this and was always satisfied with the price, quality of merchandise, and responsiveness of the company. So, I didn't think twice before ordering from Nicekicks. Boy, I wish I'd done the research first because not doing it has cost me $115!
Everyone should take this as a learning experience. I know me and my son have! I'm angry now and won't stop until I get my money back!
