Last October my company was contacted by Steel Cosmetics to run a full page advertisement for them. We assisted Steel Cosmetics and Rita Steel the owner of the company we even bent over backwards for Rita while carrying out our duties. She supplied us with an ad when we looked at the design we told her that design would not cut it. So we offered out of our goodwill to re-design her ad for her as well at no extra charge that she was to just pay for the medi placement. We did a beautiful job we received many compliments on it and especially from Rita Steel. She was so happy and so were we. We thought we had done something nice for her. We got her approval the ad went out when it came time to pay she kept deliberating and postponing.
Every time we spoke to her it was another two weeks another two weeks. She mentioned how she was being harrassed by competitors in the cosmetics industry. She mentioned as to how her car was stolen. At one point we tried calling her old 1-800 number and it was disconnected. She said these people are hacking my website and my emails and on and on. She needed another 2 weeks cos she was just as busy taking care of the mess as well as filling out orders. She was attempting to get to our soft spot and she did. Finally patience runs out and we contact her again once again she says I need another 2 weeks.
Then she offers to pay $500.00 by credit card on a friday and come following Tuesday there was no transaction found by the bank. She then calls us again 2 weeks later and says I've found an investor you'll be getting your money in 2 weeks and nothing. Today I realize I was ripped off. I run a small company next month will be one year it's really disheartening especially when you work so hard and people do this to you... It's just not right at all that they get away with this. I am taking legal action against Steel Cosmetics they have bad credit with us and probably steel cosmetics has bad credit with many other small companies they've ripped off by fraud or some other means. If you're out there and read this don't order products from Steel Cosmetics they are crooks.
