Dear Sir,

1) We shopped at your Zeller's store #468, in the late-evening of 30September2010, located in the East York Town Centre shopping complex at 45 Overlea Boulevard, near Don Mills and Overlea Boulevard [and the Ontario Science Centre] in Toronto, Ontario M4H1C3.

2) AFTER we paid for the items at your cash-registers, and exited the store, 2 of your female staff [the first- Caucasian-white, apparently, middle-aged, blonde-haired female, who was sitting at the "customer-service desk", AND the second- South-asian, dark-haired, apparently middle-aged, with a walkie-talkie-radio in her pocket] came running AFTER us, OUT of the store, DEMANDING AND ALLEGING that we had NOT paid for the items in our shopping-bags. AND THIS WAS HUMILIATING in front of OTHER PASSERS-BY who were out in the MALL-PLAZA.

3) NOTE that your audio beepers did NOT go-off warning your staff, that we had NOT paid for the items.

THEREFORE, there was NOTHING TO SUBSTANTIATE their FALSE AND INCORRECT ALLEGATIONS THAT we had NOT paid for the items.

4) SINCE we paid for the items, THERE IS NOTHING ON YOUR SECURITY-cameras to SUBSTANTIATE ANY ALLEGED LEGAL position that we STOLE THE ITEMS.

• YOUR STAFF SHOULD HAVE checked the security-cameras BEFORE PURSUING US OUT INTO COMMON-MALL PUBLIC-AREA, WHICH EVIDENTLY THEY DID NOT DO SO.

5) THEREFORE, YOUR STAFF HAD NO LEGAL BASIS TO PURSUE US.

• AND WE ARE RIGHTFULLY LEGALLY ENTITLED TO SUE YOUR STAFF FOR MENTAL ANGUISH, PAIN AND SUFFERING CAUSED TO US FOR THEIR INCORRECT ACTIONS AND THE CONSEQUENT PUBLIC HUMILIATION THAT WE SUFFERED IN FRONT OF THE PASSERS-BY AND PUBLIC-AT-LARGE.

6) YOUR STAFF should NOT even have pursued us OUT OF THE STORE, OUTSIDE-OF-YOUR-PRIVATE-PROPERTY ONTO PUBLIC-PROPERTY MALL-SIDEWALK.

7) We showed them the receipts, WHICH WE DID NOT even have to do so.

8) Your staff did NOT apologize to us.

9) THEREFORE, we are NOW PUTTING YOU ON NOTICE TO PROVIDE US A WRITTEN APOLOGY for this incident WITHIN 07 CALENDAR DAYS OF TODAY [at this email address, i.e. [email protected],

• FAILING WHICH, WE, AT OUR OPTION, MAY CHOOSE TO EXERCISE OUR LEGAL RIGHTS TO SUE YOU FOR LIBEL, PUBLIC DEFAMATION, LOSS OF GOOD NAME, PUBLIC HUMILIATION, AND ANY CONSEQUENT MENTAL ANGUISH, PAIN AND SUFFERING AND ANY OTHER LEGAL CONSEQUENCES THAT WE HAVE SUFFERED, AS A RESULT OF THE FALSE AND INCORRECT ACTIONS OF YOUR PROFESSIONAL STAFF.
