Everyprice.com promotes fraudulent and shady retailers!! In my case thedigitalnerds.com
I began doing research for a digital camera and ran into the site everyprice.com. the results for this site were well below the results of other sites that i have used. I have dealt with many storefronts that have very low overhead, so i didnt think too much of the low prices.
What i was impressed with even more is the incredible high rating of the listed stores, including www.thedigitalsnerds.com, which is the store that i decided to purchase from. I read the return policy looked at the site and all seemed in line. I entered my purchase information and followed through with a purchase. Unlike other store, i was prompted that i had to call in to confirm the order before it shipped.
I called in and got put on hold for a while, then got a disgrunteld service rep on the phone. He began into a poor sales pitch about how the battery would not last more than 20 mins on this camera and that i would need to upgrade to a new batter for a special price. I told him that i was not interested and this irritated him, he asked "how are you going to use the camera then? ". I then was very suspicious and asked him for his name. He would not give it to me, nor an ID #. He told me that he was going cancel my order and before i hung up he told me "get a life." Wow, never had such a cordial buying experience!
I just hope that my account information will used or charged!!!
Since having this experience and searching the net i have read of similar incidences. Bottom line is that everyprice.com is a fraudulent site that is promoting shaky, even fraudulent retailers.
