I was warned by several respected survey equipment dealer / repair people not to deal with this person.
I however purchased a Wild N3 level on Ebay from him.
He advertized the level as being in perfect condition.
I paid over $5000 for it.
After the auction he told me that the bubble vial had been refilled and may leak he also told me that it cost $60 to get it filled and would give me $300 off the Ebay price in case I had to get it repaired again. I got worried and made some calls to respected repair shops, they all told me that the vials can not be repaired and no replacements are available. He (Bujor) refused to tell me where he gets them repaired for $60. The only way I could get out of the sale was to refuse delivery when it arrived. I am from Canada but had it delivered to Chicago where I was installing a pipe milll at the time. I eventually got my money back but did lose about $500 because of the exchange rate between Canadian and U.S. funds (you lose a couple of percent when you pay and recieve a refund) I have been told some scarry stories about this guys caracter, for instance - a very respected equipment dealer told me that he purchased a Wild N3 level from him and returned it missing the split bubble vial. He of course insisted it was never there and wanted his money back.
I am writing this to warn all of you honest people to be very cautious of this person, I have been told many more stories about his lack of knowledge and condition of the junk he gathers fron eastern eaurope to resell.
Call me if you want more details
