Got this 2008 Outlander new, have always loved the auto. At 87000 km developed noise in differential. Service at the dealer was terrible, never returned calls. Set up a case file with head office, told to continue driving while awaiting for response from head office.

Waited four days no calls. After many calls to dealer (always promising to call back) finally told to bring car in for test to be sent to head office. Test done told ok to continue driving (no problem to take on trip) Once again had to chase the dealer for return call. Finally heard, Mitsubitsi will not honor warranty as fluid was not changed at 48, 000 kms. Warranty and Maintenance manual states to check level and condition which my mechanic did, nowhere in the manual does it state to change only check which was done. Fluid will be contaminated very quickly once metal filings enter the fluid. Have called Mitsubitsi to appeal and see why this will not be covered. Once again no one calls you back. Worse service I have experienced.
