Phone operator stated emphatically that my credit union hired them to protect my account, Qc

Bank Safe stated ephatically that The First Connecticut Credit Union hired them to protect my account because money was being stolen. She had all my information checking account birth date address social security number.

They need to start right away. The price for this service was $395.00
I told her I need to call my credit union for verification. She said you don't need to do that but if you must just give her a check number and I asked will she hold off she said yes and like a trusting child I gave the number to her.

I called the Union and was told by Kate that the Union don't operate that way.
I called the Union the next day and the money was drawn. I called Kate again To see if that company could be trace and all she had was a phone number

Febuary21 2007 I made contact after weeks of calling that number with no
success. I would not get off the line until the woman said "she will fax cancellation slip." I immediately faxed the now filled in slip back. She told me
I will have to wait 4-6 weeks for my refund by check. This I done.
May 07, 2007 I called again. She said wait 2 more weeks. As of this date nothing happening. I am back to having my calls go unaswered.
