Sent Check for $2, 990 with promise of $85, 000 in winnings after we sent them $2, 880 of money. ripoff Midland Ontario

I have, as many people have entered contests for money. We are a struggling family of five and when we recieved the letter saying that we finally won it big we thought our prayers had been answered. Yet we still were doubtful so we checked with a local TV station and was told this was a fruad. We have deposited the check we recieved in the bank and are still waiting to hear that it did not clear!

This just happened, we have reported this to our local police and have been told that even if the check clears not to use this money because the account it is being drawn from may not know what is going on. We have made the mistake of spending some money that should have gone to lot rent and payments on other bills. We were in debt before but was able to keep most of our bills paid, now because of these krooks we may loose our home and possibly more.

I wish there was a way to get the money back we have spent but can only hope that telling others our story may keep them from being hurt financially as we have been. The $2, 990 we was sent is alot to us and $85, 000 would have been life changing. I hope thes people get what is coming to them.
