First of all, these people did not inform me they only take cash until they already started moving stuff. My bad for not asking. I had never had a problem with a mover before, was polite to them and bought them cold drinks because it was a hot day. They tracked grease on the rug and didn't care when I pointed it out. On arrival, they bitched there was no tip and rushed me into giving them the cash. They left the building's door wide open to the world. They had lost some handmade cushions that admittedly weren't packed properly (were on stackable rattan chairs). I believe they intentionally destroyed these things. I say that because they were very rough with things generally, very careless, and also managed to spread strange glue on several boxes. Luckily none got on the new rug. They vandalized my stuff, basically. The company did not respond to me or the BBB complaint that followed. This was spring of 2008. The one man kept dark glasses on the whole time, and was probably high, in hindsight. The other seemed brain damaged. I believe they were ex-cons or future criminals.
