I was approved for a loan that would help my fiance and I get married and consolidate all our collections, I filed through Wittman Capital Services, who after awhile said I was approved but high-risk, so I would need a security deposit that they would hold for 3 months to verify that my payments were not late or delinquent.
After sending the deposit out (which they asked that I send it by moneygram and it was picked up about 15 minutes after I told them I sent it, in missisauga not toronto where they said their office was), I was told it would arrive in my bank account on Thursday between 2-4pm, well on Thursday at 1:45pm I got an e-mail from their customer care department saying their computers are down and that they had to send a cheque out via regular mail, I've yet to receive any such mail, and everytime I call these guys it goes straight to Voicemail. The switchboard operator where they say they are located will not tell us whether or not that business is actually in that building.
After digging on the internet for awhile I found that the BBB is well aware of these guys and that they've had 6 fraud complaints filed against them, why is the website still up and why are they allowed to keep this scam up if people know of this? Oh and moneygram won't do anything at all for you!! No help whatsoever. Don't fall for it!!!
