I was approved for a loan from Kenneth Goodwin who works for Wittman Capital Services. I received an e-mail from him stating I was approved but that I needed to send money to secure the loan.
I went to our drug store and sent them the money re: moneygram as he requested. I faxed him a copy of the receipt and then called to let him know the money had been sent.
I received an e-mail stating that my loan would be deposited into my account on Thursday between 2-4 EST time. I did not receive the money in my account during that time so I called Kenneth, he told me that I needed to contact the customer care department.
I tried to call but all you get is voice mail, I left several messages. I checked my e-mail on Friday and the customer care department had sent me a message at 12:30pm Thursday to tell me that a hold had been put on my account and I would need to contact them.
I have been phoning the numbers ever since and never received a call back. I sent several messages to them, the last one I stated that I would go to the police and the news.
I then received a message stating that a cheque had been sent out, I am still waiting for that cheque!
I had gone to the Better Business Bureau but they did not have any complaints so I filed one. They contacted me to say that the mail had come back undeliverable so the file was closed.
Since then I have checked into the company more and found there has now been 9 more complaints with the BBB with all of them being closed.
I had someone I know go to the building and they are not in the building, when I mentioned that in the last e-mail to Wittman I was told that they were still there but that they were having renovations so they were in a different suite. An obvious lie!!
I sent them an e-mail this morning telling them they had until the end of the day tomorrow Oct 1/08 to respond or I would be going to the news.
I have had to change my banking info and my personal I.D. This company should not be allowed to still have a website up and running so other people can be scammed!
Please Tell everyone you know about them so we can try and stop them from taking other peoples money!!
