After 4 years of waiting to be a Mystery Shopper!!! And It's a SCAM, FRAUD!!!

After 4 years of waiting to be a mystery shopper I was excited. At first I thought I won some money for a Disney trip. The top of my check had Disney Worldwide Services Inc. on it. Had Mickey Mouse and all. I was like that want help my family out cause we are a family of six. I looked at the check and it looked real. So I showed my husband. He read the letter and all. Looked at the check also. He told me to call my "co-ordinator" as it was spelled by them. Her name was Sharon Dean at 250-813-1064. So I called twice before some one picked up.

She answered as if she was the secretary. I asked for Ms. Dean. I was put in hold for about 40 seconds just for the same person to pick up again. I asked if it was legit. She answered very quickly, YES. I asked what all I was supposed to do. In a nut shell I was supposed to receive $130 for a 2 hour probation training, $300 to shop with and $40 for my transportation. I was supposed to return the item I purchased from the 1st store within an hour I was to keep all other items I had purchased. Then once all that was done I was supposed to go to Money Gram due to customer service after September 11th and send the remaining $3, 079.50 to her supervisor. Which this amount would be give right back to me for the next mystery shopper program I was to participated in. She tried to explain but I couldn't really get a full understand due to her accent. So I said Ok, thanks and hung up.

I then looked up the banks info online as well as their info. Nothing with the address given came back. Which where like 4 different address. 2 different ones on the check and 2 different ones in the letter head of the letter. I called Citibank's customer's service department to ask about the check in the amount of $3, 699.50. They told me to return to sender. They do not send checks out like that. I called my local news and informed them of the scam. I then typed in Consumer Research Company Scams. Ripoff reports popped up and I saw my fellow mystery shoppers co workers... lol and had to leave my experience as well.
