I have been rebuilding my credit for several years now. I got this call one day and Linda from First Capitol Consumers Group verified some of my personal information, which I thought I may have applied for the card online and she told me I had been approved for the cards but that a one time fee would apply. I knew that some sort of fee would apply, because if you don't have perfect credit, that's the price you pay.

I was getting a decent APR. so I was happy about that, and she gave me a confirmation number and I agreed. 199.00 was the fee and in 1-3 weeks, after she verified my employment, I would be receiving my cards. Well the fee came out twice, I went to the bank and had that fixed. And here I am 4 weeks later and no cards. No return calls, no answered calls and I can't find the address. I will be going to the bank and have them return the other fee and show them these scam problems and the bank will probably return my money, I have done business with them for many years and they are really good about doing the right thing.

I just wish I had checked them out in this first place. First Capitol, if you are reading these, I want you to know that I think you suck for stealing from people who are working so hard to try and rebuild what the late 80's and late 90's (oilfield) has taken away. We work hard to rebuild and people like you, is what is hurting AMERICA. Just give us a break, quit stealing from the blue collar workers.
