Be careful when you transfer your number from this caring company. My contract was going to run out on Sept. 30.
So when I decided to go to a new provider we did the change over on the 26th. I checked with Telus for my final bill and was informed that because it was transfered 4 days early I was in violation of early termination and was charged $100. I have been with them for 10 years and had nothing but great service. Now I know how it feels to get sucker punched.
So... be warned... only transfer on the last day of service or be prepared to pay for early termination. No ifs ands or buts... Good luck to Telus if I'll ever do business with them again.
