Parking Citation unfairly assigned by service of campus security --University of Victoria-- B.C

I received a parking citation while attending a wedding reception at the University club in July of this year (08)

At the lot In which I parked there was no ticket dispenser or official gate of any kind. There were no instructions as to how or where one was to obtain a parking permit.

I received the citation some weeks later ($25.). I was told that indeed there was no permit dispenser at the area in which I parked (lot9), that I would have had to go elsewhere on the campus to obtain a permit. I replied that I did not know this being neither student nor faculty at this university. I was told I would have to file an official appeal, which I did (no.3662). The appeal was refused.

To me, that this action by Victoria University's Campus Parking Authority is grossly unfair is beyond question, and puts the credibility of the university itself in a poor light. I would appreciate action canada-complaints.com will take on my behalf and that, perhaps, of others who have run afoul of the university's parking authority.
