I was employed by Easy Care for a couple of months in the summer. When I was hired I was told about all of the great things Easy Care has done, will do and has to offer. After I started working there I was put to gruelling work at schools of Vancouver. We worked strait through for the whole day and even had to go into overtime on some of them. It was great!! things were good. I was making money and paying my bills.
After the schools were completed work started to die off. We were givin days off, and the seniority kicked in at that point. It was very dissapointing to see that I would not be able to pay my bills, and that money wasn't coming in.
Thats not the bad part! The worst thing is that one day I overhear the owner of the company telling the sales guy; who is also doing the hiring, that it doesn't matter how many people they hire. If they dont get enough work they can just fire them before their 3 month probabtion is up.
Low and behold a couple of days later I get called in to the managers office and they fire me without giving me a reason.
Everyone that applies to Easy Care should think twice. They have no respect for their employees, they work you to the bone and once they dont need you anymore they can you. It's a discrace that a company like this can exist.
