Once they are in possession of your goods, they engage in extortion of great sums of money using threats and threatening demeanor. They make tall claims about their knowledge of residential and commercial moving and are tolerable till they get the possession of the goods. They ask you to sign the papers and when the victim asks for the copy, they make excuses. In order to squeeze the maximum amount, they work only 10-15 minutes in an hour and find all means to prolong the move and agony. A simple move of 5-7 hours is extended to 18-22 hours on flimsy excuses all geared to extort more money. Every half hour or so they demand more sums of money giving the customer a choice of either coming up with more cash or they with abandon the move with the goods.
It will be in the public interest if this mover and its fraudulent activities are brought to the notice of police, authorities responsible for moving companies and public encouraged to take appropriate action to lodge complaint and recover the extorted funds.
