Rain Day Spa is a joke! The owners (asian woman and her jewish husband) will lie and take advantage of their employees and clients every chance they get! What ever it takes to make a buck! i.e. reselling her Christmas gift, reusing teabags for clients. I came to worked for them with all my clients for 3-1/2 years as a top stylist to help launch the spa. With/27yr exp, I have never seen two people more manipulative and deceitful than this husband and wife duo. I was given an ultimatum to sign a ridiculous contract that would prevent me from earning a living if Rain Day Spa and I should ever part-company. As was everyone else. Therefore, I quit! This happened in April of 2005. All the original staff, 4 estheticians 2 RMT's 1 hair stylist 5 receptionist have ether quit or have been fired for things they did not do! How quick the owner Manny is to say they were steeling or something like that, so she would look good for getting rid of them. What was once a cozy fun place to work with terrific people of all cultures quickly became a negative and un-motivating environment? The owner would force sell to any client she thought would bite. Her husband would skulk around and creep out clients as there receiving services. The"Clients", as the husband put it in a staff meeting, "are all walking credit cards". He told me that I would not be receiving my last two weeks of pay. That is how a little man get's his power, on the people that give him free services with out asking for anything in return but respect. As Howard put it in my voice mail, "good luck getting your F... ing Cheque buddy! " All I can say is good luck to anyone dealing with these kind of people. All the clients that have chosen to follow all of us in our new location are speechless.
