After applying on the internet for a management placement company, I was brought in for an interview. During this interview I was given the impression that I passed a psychological test, which determined that I had the skills for management, although I would need some fine tuning which would take approximately 2-3 months.
In determining my eligibility for the management positions, I first had to be making over
$30, 000 and they wanted to meet my partner to make sure I would recieve the support I needed in changing my career. I was allowed to only ask one question after the interview which was time limited.
I was lead to believe that there was going to be a cost involved although I didn't know how much. The Better Business Bureau had the company listed and it was stated that the company had investigations that were followed up on. The bureau gave no other information on the what happened with the investigations.
After doing my own research by calling other career counsellors, I was lead to this report. It just goes to show you that the old word by mouth is the most reliable. Thank you Laurie Kornmuller of Future Careers.
