I was contacted by phone was told I was approved. They took the money out of my account in July and I have been trying to get it returned ever since. Several hundred dollars in phone calls, letters, faxes, never once getting a return call. No correspondence nothing. They also had a drop mail address in the US and they only thing we got by return mail was a letter saying it was legal for themto use them for drop mail but that was it. I even wrote to the Ontario Ombudsman and they couldn't help. My home phone was disconnected because I had been without a check for 4 months. The bank account is still open that they took the money from. I sat down to write another letter and decided to do some surfing and found this site. I can't believe that the Canadian government and the US government has allowed this to go on. I have tried every which way to get this money. Please help me if you can. I have been writing letters and faxes since August and I have all my copies of letters, faxes, phone bills, and the bank statement where they took the money from.

Please help me if there is anyway possible.
