Groupo Mayan are scam artists.
We bought in Cabo with the sole purpose of going to Cabo. We were told they were building a Mayan Palace in Cabo and until it is finished we can use the Grand Mayan without a problem.
What a bunch of BS. We will never be able to get there through Groupo Mayan. I wasted hours and hours on the internet and phone... I called several different times in the first minute we are allowed to book ahead... and everytime it was already booked.. by the Grand Mayan members already. NOW they are not going to even build a Mayan Palace in Cabo. So they create two new levels that we cannot go to. So it really is an scam and a bunch of lies.
We spend a lot of money to go to Cabo with them and we cannot because of their SERIOUS ERRORS of OMMISSION in the contract. Have nothing to do with these people. We have to trade throught SF X or RCI and waste more money on exchange fees. We are now buying a place at Cabo Riveria north of San Jose... should be a great development in a few years... where you can own a waterfront place and keep your boat there.
