From 2005 - 2010 the owners of the Motel Duvernay advertised under the Rooming and Boarding Houses in the yellow pages. Therefore, the tenants should have rights under the Tenant/Landlord Act. Not according to Boless Inc and the Heafey Group who have evicted tenants simply because they make complaints over repairs, water leakage and other run down services. They are currently facing the Regie du Logement in Gatineau over unjust evictions.
