My brother in law was transported by this company from St Josephs hospital in Comox to the Royal Jubilee in Victoria for heart surgery.
Neither of the people working on this "ambulance" were paramedics, and they stated that they were a new company to help with extra calls as the ambulance service could not staff the real ambulances as the paramedics are on strike.
My brother said the ride was horrible, and while the people with him were polite and pleasant, he knew more about heart attacks and their treatment than the people driving him did!
Absolutely reprehensible that this government would stoop so low and hire replacement workers during a strike, not at all what British Columbians believe in.
