Mighty Putty - Rip-Off

I ordered Mighty Putty from an Infomercial by Merchandise Direct. The order was to cost $29.99 Plus 8.00 S&H for a total of 37.99 Plus Tx.

When I received my order I noticed the shipment contained 18 tubes of Mighty Putty. It seemed much more than the original quantity I ordered.

I wanted to contact the company to verify my order, however there was no phone number or e-mail address provided to contact them. So I waited to receive my Credit Card Invoice.

When I received my Invioce, I was furious to see that Merchandise Direct had billed my Credit Card Three (3) times the original amount.

So instead of $37.99 Tx. I was Billed $ 122.55 Incl Tx.

This is a major RIP-OFF!!! and there is no way to contact Merchandise Direct since their phone number connects only to a pre-recorded order line.

The BIGGEST RIP-OFF is the Tevevision Networks that allow these telecasts of RIP-OFF artists and the Credit Card companies that allow these transactions to happen.

Both the Television Networks and Credit Card companies should be more responsible in screening fraudulent companies like Merchandise Direct.

I learned a VALUABLE $$ lesson-I will NEVER order from an Infomercial again.
