I went online to purchase an adult video and wanted to purchase it in the DVD format. Once you go to the site it asks you to enter and I then highlighted the "DVD" section. A second page opened and again I highlighted "DVD". The page asks if you want to purchase a downloaded version or a "DVD". I again highlighted "DVD" and made my selection. When my purchase arrived I placed it into my DVD player and attempted to view my selection. It wouldn't play! I contacted the website and told them it didn't play. They quickly stated they had played the selection before it was shipped. I told them if it played for them it wasn't playing for me now!
I was then asked as to the type of DVD player I had. I informed them of the brand name and was advised that "it is a common problem" and that my purchase would not play on my DVD because it was in "DIVX" format. I asked for a refund and was told it wasn't their fault because I didn't know what my DVD player would play! It has never crossed their small minds that if it is a "common problem! " maybe their website is misleading customer. Instead of the words "DVD" written all over the website; maybe it should be replaced with the words "DIVX" so a purchaser really knows what they are purchasing! The words "DIVX" do not appear until the transaction is almost complete.By that time the purchaser is lulled into thinking he is purchasing a "DVD"!
