I purchased smooth away online. I opted for a few extras that should have totalled around 50 dollars. I see they charged my Mastercard $113.59. 4 weeks later I still have not recieved the product, but notice a refund of $73.24 on my credit card. Clearly much less than I paid, with ABSOLUTELY NO product recieved ever.
Yesterday when I called the number on the website, both the initally agent and then her supervisor were extremely rude to me. They claimed to have no record of my purchase and to fax in my email cofirmation. I said no, that is an unacceptable answer and finally the supervisor came on the phone. She told me that I needed to call another distribution centre, gave me the number and hung up on me. This call was about 15 minutes of my time wasted.
So I called the new number to find out they close at 5. Today I rushed home from work to call before 5. At 4:45 I called, waited on hold for 12 minutes for a recording to come on to tell me that they were experiencing high call volumes and to call back and hung up on me, again. When I called back, surprise, they were closed.
I am still waiting to call tomorrow to find out why I was over charged, did not EVER recieve the product and now was refunded around 72% of what I paid without ever being notified.
After googling the company name with the word complaints....I see that I am not the only one. To be continued...
