On December 20, 2008 I received a letter and check in the mail from the afforementioned company. I was of course very excited to see a check for $4750.00 especially so close to Christmas.
As I continued reading the letter, I realized the total win was $275, 000.00. The letter instructed me to contact my "Claim Agent" immediately to begin processing my claim.
I called the number provided in the letter and the answering machine was to full to take another message. I spent the rest of the day, daydreaming about the money.
Thankfully this website exists and I was able to find several identical letters and reports on this scam.
My letter also contained the incorrectly spelled advice instead of advise and my winning numbers were also 15-66-83-78-02
Some of the names have changed and the address is not identical, but it is clearly the same scam.
