I signed up for TBB (Talk Broad Band) service a few months ago and I was actually excited since it was only $15.95 a month with the $4 modem charge.

The first time on the first day that I used my new service my TBB has so much static that the person on the other end had to hang up. This wasn't a one time thing... I actually thought it was a problem with my phone so I went out and got a new phone.

The service is terrible with TBB, even when I called to cancel my service the Primus customer service agent hung up on me because she couldn't understand me over the static and my breaking up.

I also had an issue with the "online TBB page" (in order to check recent calls made/received) where I could not log in and after 10 emails to Primus representatives I gave up.

The worst part about this was that when I canceled my service I was charged an additional $16 for canceling. When I called a Primus representative she told me that although it does not say it in the Terms section they made the fee mandatory now on all Primus services.

So they are now charging people to leave their company even if you were like me on a month to month basis with 30 days notice! Putting aside the $15 is costs to send back the modem used within the 30 days or you are charged the full modem price.

Switching to Primus was one of the worst and most costly mistakes I have done and I am writing this in hope that no one ever signs up for their TBB service.
