Imagine opening a first class envelope from Canada and seeing an authentic looking $4, 620 check in your name saying that "you are one of the winners" and "you are entitled to the sum of US $250, 000.00". My family was finally excited about something!
Our son Ryan, mentally challenged, just passed away December 26th, 2007. My husband has a heart condition, had a stroke in 2004 and lost some usage on his left side. My daughter, mother of 3 boys, has had cancer twice and we pray every day it doesn't come back someplace else.
Then you receive this letter. You open the envelope and it's like a dream come true. Maybe, just maybe, you can really help your family. Then BAM,
you find out it's a SCAM!
What a HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE thing to do to somebody! These people need to be held responsible for their actions. They should be prosecuted to the full
extent of the law, be financially liable to PAY all the recipients of the letters, PAY any and all damages they've caused AND do JAIL time!
