Goldman Research & Development, A Division Of Mysteryshoponline.com
Mail Fraud - Mystery Shopper SCAM

I received a letter and check for 4500.00 dollars in the mail three days ago. The letter stated that it was 'to inform (me) based on previous survey by our affiliate Consumer survey specialist you indicated to be interested in an additional income on part-time basis..'...They requested that I notify them at the phone number given that I had received the check and instructions, at which time they would release the funds for use. The letter asked that I make $100.00 in purchases at Wal-Mart and then to wire transfer through MoneyGram a total of 3800.00. They asked that I evaluate customer service at both locations, fill out a form and to fax the form with the receipts to them after completion.

Upon looking in more detail at the letter (sometimes it is difficult to really 'read' when you have a 4 year old and a 10 month old on you), I see that there are several typographical and grammatical errors in the content of the letter. This alone could be a red flag if you receive such a letter and a check in the mail, so do not even think twice - RIP IT UP! Do not think it is an answer to prayers for needed work and income, or that it is a blessing to your life to have an opportunity to work parttime and raise two young children... IT IS A SCAM! BE WARNED!

The company lists two addresses:
1015 North St NW
Conyers GA 30012

1526 Granite Rd
Nelson, BC VIL 6T6
CANADA

When I went to my bank, I was told that I would have to deposit the check with a hold on it to verify the funds. Thank God for my bank doing this! That was a big red flag for me, so I came home and started researching on the internet, and discovered that there is no such company as Goldman Research and Development, and then I came accross this website. Also, I checked out 'Mysteryshoponline.com' and found that it is a valid website, but is not affiliated with ANYONE for any reason. This is a scam of the worst kind. I feel that it preys on innocent people, such as myself, trying to raise a family in this horrendous economy. When I think that I could have been liable for 4500 dollars to my bank, money that I do not have, I am just overwhelmed with the magnitude of this scam.

I hope and pray that the media DOES get ahold of this story and investigates, and blows the whistle on these people before more innocent lives are devastated by their scam. I would welcome anyone to contact me working on this story. I would do anything to see these VILLIANS brought to justice, and I hope that they are forced to repay all monies that they have scammed from honest, hard working, Christian folks.
