These people are ridiculous!!! The letter comes in the mail, you open, and WOW... there's a check from U.S. Bank for $2, 975.50!!! It looks legit. The letter goes on to describe how you won the lottery (which I never signed up for), and once the check is cleared you will receive one lump sum of $17, 024.50 ( $20, 000 minus the check amount that is to pay for taxes) plus a great cruise to the Bahamas!
What you don't know is that the check will never clear because they are from closed branches!!! So if you start writing checks, thinking this money is in there... well, you know what happens to your account.
I would love to know how to stop these guys!!!
